Deir el Kamar was the first mount Lebanon capital (between the 17th century & the 19th century).
A religious microcosm housing the Christians church, the jews synagog & Moslems mosque. Very picturesque with its old
palaces & streets.

Beitdeddine was built by prince Bashir II during the first part of the 19th century. It has been a presidency
palace, and currently is an archeological museum & during the summer period - international festivals.
Prince Amine palace was built by the son of prince Bashir II.
We had lunch in the Mir Amine Restaurant.
Rhonda, who's talents were abundant when it came to music, played this classical lebanese instrument from the era.
