The temple of Bacchus is considered as one of the most beautiful successes of the Roman architecture and the most well preserved temple in the world.
 
The temple of Jupiter is the largest roman period temple in the world, enjoys a Semitic planum compared with Solomon temple. The columns each measure 20 metres high and 2 metres in diameter.

Pregnant Stone - Baalbeck Quarries

The Quarries: that houses the pregnant stone (1000 tones) & another new discovered & studied stone called Monolith II (1242 tones). These stones were prepared for transportation to the acropolis during the construction phase of the temples. The method in which they moved the stones was phenominal.
