Nourieh convent (the lady of the light), enjoys the most beautiful location overlooking the sea. The
oldest part erected by the Byzantine emperor Theodosius II during the 4th century A.D. in order to commemorate the holy virgin
miracle as she saved him & his men from drowning in the sea.
Hardine - the hometown of the hometown of the 1998 beatified father Neemet-Allah -el Hardini & the
12 century famous hermit Sara -el -Hardini. Large numbers of hermits & maronite patriarches had settled up there.

The whole of the Hardine village was ringing loudly with the sound of the Church bells! There was a number of Churches
in Hardine and ALL bells were being rung by our boys!...swinging in the air from the bell ropes.
Fr Bernard then said Mass for us which was a beautiful experience for all of us!
